Android has More Free Apps than iPhone

Market research company Distimo reveals that Android has More Free Apps than iPhone. Accoording to the Company Android Market currently offers 134,342 free apps to download, while on the other hand Apple’s App Store for iPhone offers 121,845 free applications.

Distimo says that if the app stores continue to grow at their current rate, then in around five months time Google Android Market will move into first place in terms of the total number of apps available.
