After Long wait, Bharti Airtel is Going to Launch Apple iPhone 3GS in India. A newly updated section of the Airtel Website provides answers to some questions, making it clear that the company will continue to sell the 8GB version of the iPhone 3G in the country alongside the new 8GB and 16GB 16GB and 32GB variants of the iPhone 3GS, which will be available only at the network’s own stores. The Apple iPhone 3GS will be available at Airtel Authorised Stores. The date for the exact launch is expected to be announced soon. According to the Airtel website there is no exchange offer available, which means that existing iPhone customers cannot exchange their iPhones for the 3GS version. The iPhone 3GS on Airtel will be locked to Airtel and will work with an activated Airtel SIM card.
