Nokia has unveiled the Nokia C5, a smartphone optimized for social networking and sharing. The C5 is a smartphone packed into a feature phone body, boasting S60 3rd edition and a host of messaging and social networking features built in. It also has a bright 2.2-inch display and a 3.2-megapixel camera. It also is ready for messaging with Nokia Messaging. The C5 handset will be one of the cheapest smartphones from Nokia, selling for 135 euros ($183), excluding taxes and subsidies, and hitting the shelves next quarter.

Users can also surf the web using HSPA (High-Speed Packet Access), take pictures using a 3.2-megapixel camera, and store content on an included 2GB microSD card. There is support for cards that can store up to 16GB The C5 will ship in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The company didn’t provide any details on U.S. availability.

Another OS Update is available for BLackberry Bold 9000 and 8900 users, these are very unofficial releases, so if you do download and install, you’re doing so at your own risk.

Today Google announced the arrival of Google Earth for Android, which will be available in the Android Market for all phones running Android 2.1. Google Earth for Android brings the full functionality of Google Earth onto your Android device. It allows you to navigate through three-dimensional images of the world, zooming into roads or flying Superman-style over mountains and lakes.

To download, search “Google Earth” in the Android Market. Since this is just for phones running Android 2.1, Droid users will have to wait until Motorola rolls out the long-awaited update.

PPCgeeks has posted some exclusive details of Upcoming Windows Mobile 7, they mention that UI will be very similar to the look of the Zune HD, with a completely new Start screen. These details are next to official, which means we might be onto something real. Features listed after the jump.

· WP7 will be announced at MWC, and there will be a demo, but this will be just the UX
· MIX will have specific developement focus sessions on WP7
· WP7 supports both Sliverlight (out of browser) and XNA
· Silverlight is version 3.0, with elements of 4.0 plus mobile specific features such as sensors etc
· XNA apps can be developed using XNA GameStudio 3.1
· SL apps developed using Expression Blend 3.x and VS2010
· MS will release a mobile version of VS / Expression which will be free, and VS2010 / Expression Pro will have a free add-on

Apple’s exclusive local partner in South Korea, as saying the iPhone 4G will have an OLED screen, support video chat and — perhaps most surprisingly — have a removable battery. The officials say that KT’s corporate clients will get the new phones in April as a “litmus test” before they’re provided to local distributors in June.

Today’s Googles launch the Nexus One, the newest Android-powered phone running the latest Android 2.1 software. Nexus One comes with all your favorite Google Mobile apps pre-installed: find the classics like Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube and Google Talk, with additional goodies like Maps Navigation and Google Voice. With its 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon™ chipset, these apps are speedier than ever before.

The Nexus One’s 3.7-inch Amoled display, and 1-gigahertz processor from Qualcomm aims to bring the Android 2.1 3D graphic display to life. The phone has a trackball and a battery of technologies, including a compass and light sensor. It is 11.5 millimeters thin, about the thickness of a No. 2 pencil. The 5-megapixel still and video camera has a flash. The phone was designed in close partnership with HTC. Erick Tseng, senior product manager at Google, described the hardware specs and software features during the press event.
