Galaxy S II Ice Cream Sandwich Update on March 10

Few Days back Samsung Israel give us the hing of the Galaxy S II Ice Cream Sandwich Update on March 15, now today Samsung confirmed that Galaxy S II will be receiving an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on March 10. The new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update will be available via Kies software and FOTA (Firmware Over the Air).

The globally available Samsung Galaxy S II I9100 will be the only version, which will receive the new Android 4.0 update at the moment. The new updated version come with lots of new feature like Face Unlock, Apps, Android Beam and other updates. To upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich, you must upgrade KIES to the latest version. (KIES 1.5 does not support upgrading to ICS). So update your KIES now, so you can get the update.
