How to Install Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean ROM On Samsung Galaxy S III

How to Update Galaxy S3 I9300 to XXUFME3 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean

Step 1. First enable USB debugging mode on your Galaxy 3, here is the guide to enable USB debugging mode.

Step 2. Now Download these files on desktop to follow the update process:-

a. Samsung USB drivers
b. Leaked Android 4.2.2 XXUFME3 ROM for Galaxy S III
c. Odin Flash Tool

Step 3. Extract the ROM Files (Step 2 b File) on your Desktop and ODIN flash tool on your desktop. After that Download and install Samsung’s USB drivers, if they aren’t already installed.

Step 4. Turn off your device and enter it into Download Mode by holding Home and Volume-down buttons while powering it back on.

Step 5. Once your device in download mode, connect it to your PC with the helps of USB cable.

Step 6. Now run the ODIN application on your desktop, Now one ID:COM boxes will turn yellow or blue after some time. From the ODIN application screen Click ‘PDA’ in Odin and select the I9300XXUFME3_I9300OJKFME1_HOME.tar.md5 file that you download on Step 2, and make sure that Re-Partition is unchecked.

Step 7. Hit the start button to start the installation process. The process will take some time to install the firmware on your Samsung Galaxy S3. Once the process is complete you can see the PASS message on your ODIN screen. Now you on the new Firmware.
