Here is the complete working guide which you can follow on your Redmi 1s and install the same. To do this all you need a custom recovery like TWRP or CWM on your phne and after that you have to flash the ROM zip file on your phone and you are done. Step 1. Install the TWRP recovery on your redmi 1s from here.

Step 2. Once the TWRP is installed on your phone, Download the CM11 ROM zip file here and move the file on your phone.

Step 3. Download Google Apps here and move it on your phone. ( You need to install this zip file to install the Google application on your phone.)

Step 4. Now boot your device in TWRP recovery mode. To do this Go to Tools > Updater > press Menu key and select ‘Reboot to Recovery mode’

Step 5. Press on Backup button, Swipe the bottom slider “Swipe to back up” .

Step 6. Go back to the recovery main menu and Press Wipe Button. Press Advanced Wipe, Select the partitions Dalvik, cache, data and system.Then slide the bottom slider “Swipe to Wipe”

Step 7. Then go to Home. Then select Install. Then select the rom zip u want to flash, Swipe to Flash and the flashing process will start on your phone.

Step 8. Once done, flash the Google apps package to install the google application on the custom rom.
