How to install Paranoid Android AOSPA 4.2.2 JDQ39 on Google Nexus 4

Step 1. On you Nexus 4 enable the USB Debugging. Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging or check this guide to enable USB debugging mode.

Step 2. After Enabling the USB debugging mode on your device, Download Paranoid Android AOSPA 4.2.2 JDQ39 package and Google Apps Package from here (Don’t extract the files on your desktop). After downloading these file copy both the file on your Nexus 4 internal storage.

Step 3. Now Enter in Recovery Mode from your Nexus 4. How to Enter Recovery Mode on Android Device.

Step 4. Once your Nexux 4 in Recovery Mode. Select ‘wipe data/ factory reset’ option and confirm this process. Select install zip from sdcard and then chose zip from memory card. Navigate to Paranoid Android zip file. Select it and press yes in next step. Installation will take some time, after this again repeat the same procedure i.e. install zip from sdcard followed by chose zip from sdcard. But this time chose Google Apps Package file.

Step 5. After Install custom Rom and Google app, go back to Custom Recovery menu and select ‘reboot system now’.

Step 6. Now the reboot process will take some time to finish the installation process. It shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes to complete.
