Note 3 is thinner, lightweight and easy to carry new smartphone and packed with lots of new features. The device powered with Android™ 4.3 Jelly Bean, 2.3GHz Quad-Core, 5.7″ Full HD Super AMOLED Display, 3GB RAM; 32GB ROM and 13MP camera. Thanks to XDA member designgears, who released the ‘Root de la Vega’ method for the Galaxy Note 3 Devices. Rooting has lots of benefit, after the root you will enjoy lots of rooted application, custom ROMS and add lots of tweaks and modifications on your device. This method will wipe all your data, so do take the full backup of your device before proceeding.

Check Your Note 3 Model Number

As we mention above this guide is only for the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900T model. First you must check your device’s model no, go to your Android Settings > About device and Model Number. Don’t try this method on any of other Galaxy Note 3 Models.

Backup Your Galaxy Note 3 Data

This one is the most important step, do take the backup of your data with these free android applications and save the backup files in some safe place like cloud services or on your desktop.

1. Download Galaxy Note 3 Latest USB driver from here and install it on your windows desktop.

2. Download the file given below file and save them on your desktop:-

Instructions to Root T-Mobile Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900T

Step 1. Remove the Eternal SD card form the device.(IMPORTANT)

Step 2. Extract the Root de la Vega package package on your desktop and you will see three different files in the folder Root_de_la_Vega.zip, Odin3 v3.09.exe, Odin3.ini

Step 3. Now Switch Off your device and wait for 7 to 8 seconds. And boot it into Download Mode. Press and Hold Volume DOWN + Power + Home. Press Volume Up button again to Download Mode.

Step 4. Connect your Note 3 to the PC with Original USB cable and Run the ODIN.exe file that we extracted in Step 2.

Step 5. Once the phone is connected successfully, you will see the blue box on the ODIN application screen. Now on the ODIN application click on the AP button and select file ? N900TUVUBMI7_VEGA.tar.md5 after that Click on CSC tab and select file ? N900TTMBBMI7_CSC.tar.md5 (Files that You downloaded from the Download section)

Make sure that ‘Auto Reboot‘ and ‘F. Reset Time‘ boxes checked.

Step 6. After that click the Start button. Wait till you get PASS message with Green signal on ODIN application screen.

Step 7. Once your Note 3 has restarted successfully, connect your phone to PC again.

Step 8.
Go to your desktop again and extract the Root_de_la_Vega.zip (File that you saved in Step 2) on your desktop. Now you will see tow new files in the folder root_de_la_vega.sh and root_files. Now move both the file on your Note 3 internal SD card.

Step 9. Now, restart your Galaxy Note 3.

Step 10. Once the phone is restarted delete all the 2 files form your device that you moved to SD Card in above step.

Step 11. Restart your phone again. Now your phone is rooted and you will enjoy the rooted apps and custom ROMs on your Note 3.
