Skype 2.0 Adds Video Calling to Android Phones

Today Skype announced an updated version of its new Skype 2.0 for Android app – Skype for Android 2.0, Which add video Calling to Android Phones. From this new app version, users can make video calls just as easily as on the desktop version. They simply have to go to a contact and hit the Skype Video Call button.

At the moment, the new video calling feature is available only for a number of four handsets, but more devices should enjoy the capability in the near future.

The service will be launched in phases, Skype said. The first phase includes support for the Nexus S, HTC desire S, Sony Ericsson Xperia neo and Sony Ericsson Xperia pro.
