Yesterday BBLeaks posted some new images of Blackberry OS 6.0. It looks like a new direction for RIM with a QWERTY/touchscreen hybrid. Even so, one can easily spot the presence of widgets on the homescreen, which means that RIM might have adopted the same approach as Google did with its Android operating system. For the time being, there are no details available on when the new OS might land on the market, nor on the devices that will sport it. There are chances that existing phones like the Storm series will receive an upgrade, but nothing is certain.
