Important things to remember- Make sure your device have at least 80% battery power, otherwise your device may see a hard brick if device turn off during installation. Your device is rooted and have ClockworkMod Recovery Installed, without rooting you can’t update your device with this update.

How to Install Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean based CM10.1 ROM on Xperia Z

Step 1. First Most important thing is ti download the latest CM 10.1 build on your desktop and don’t extract all these files on your desktop. So Download CM10.1 ROM 4.2.2 Jelly Bean ROM For Xperia Z [Filename: cm-10.1-20130415-NIGHTLY-yuga.zip] and Google Apps [Filename: gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip] on your desktop.

Step 2. Now Connect your Sony Xperia with your computer via USB cable. Now move both the above downloaded files on your Device Sdcard.

Step 3. Now unplug it from the computer and turn off the device. Boot into recovery mode. To do so, reboot phone and press Volume Up button few times while booting. [use volume buttons to scroll and Power button to select]. Or you can follow this guide to enter into recovery mode.
