From today Apple officially started selling an unlocked version of the device on its Web site. You can grab the 16GB unlocked iPhone 4S at $649, a 32GB version will be $749, and a 64GB device will set you back $849. Both black and white version available in the Apple web store and will ship within one to two weeks.
These unlocked iPhone 4S is only supported on GSM networks, like AT&T in the U.S. Users can also obtain a micro-SIM card to use on overseas carriers when traveling abroad. The unlocked iPhone 4S will not work with CDMA carriers such as Verizon Wireless or Sprint,” Apple said, check out the image below.
