Recently Galaxy Grand I9082 received the new firmware update, now you can update your device with the latest XXAMAB Android 4.1.2 Official Firmware. The new update will solve some lag issues on the device and also the issues related to the Camera too have been fixed. Below is the complete guide which helps you to update your Galaxy Grand I9082 with latest Android 4.1.2 firmware.
This one is the latest official firmware form the Samsung and not the beta or custom ROM firmware update. The new Firmware is only available in select countries and can be updated to your device irrespective of country or region you are from.

We shall not hold any responsibility or liability.Make sure that you have the latest Samsung USB Drivers installed on your PC and Enable USB Debugging option from the Android Development menu. (“Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging”, enable the USB Debugging). Also make sure your Android device is charged up to 80-85% battery level.
Step 3. Now run ODIN app on your desktop and turn your device off. Now go to Download Mode. To do this Press and hold the Volume Down + Home buttons together, and then press the Power button till you see the construction Android robot and a triangle. Step 4. Now go to the ODIN on your desktop and connect your device to the computer with the help of original USB cable. Make sure you have your Galaxy Grand Duos USB drivers installed on your computer. you can download these drivers from Samsung Site.
Step 5. Now you will see that the ID : COM Section in ODIN will turn Yellow. That means your phone is connect with the ODIN.
Step 6. Click on “PDA” to select and browse for the firmware file that you extracted from the update package in step 2.
Step 7. Leave everything as is in Odin, do not eanble any other option there. Make sure the “Re-partition” option is not ticked.
Step 8. Now click on the start button and firmware update process will stat in a few seconds and it will take some time to update.
After the update is complete, the phone will reboot automatically. Now you can see the new firmware on your device, you can also check the new firmware version from your device Settings > About Phone.
