Update Galaxy Grand I9082 XXAMAB Android 4.1.2 Official Firmware

Recently Galaxy Grand I9082 received the new firmware update, now you can update your device with the latest XXAMAB Android 4.1.2 Official Firmware. Step 1. Take a full backup of your android device with these free backup apps

Step 2. Download XXAMAB Jellybean 4.1.2 Firmware Package and Odin from here to your computer. After the Download extract these file on your desktop to start the update process.

Step 3. Now run ODIN app on your desktop and turn your device off. Now go to Download Mode. To do this Press and hold the Volume Down + Home buttons together, and then press the Power button till you see the construction Android robot and a triangle. Step 4. Now go to the ODIN on your desktop and connect your device to the computer with the help of original USB cable. Make sure you have your Galaxy Grand Duos USB drivers installed on your computer. you can download these drivers from Samsung Site.

Step 5. Now you will see that the ID : COM Section in ODIN will turn Yellow. That means your phone is connect with the ODIN.

Step 6. Click on “PDA” to select and browse for the firmware file that you extracted from the update package in step 2.

Step 7. Leave everything as is in Odin, do not eanble any other option there. Make sure the “Re-partition” option is not ticked.

Step 8. Now click on the start button and firmware update process will stat in a few seconds and it will take some time to update.

After the update is complete, the phone will reboot automatically. Now you can see the new firmware on your device, you can also check the new firmware version from your device Settings > About Phone.
