How to Install I9300T DUEMA1 GALAXY S3 Jelly Bean 4.1.2 Official Firmware

Step 1. Do take the full backup of your Android data like SMS, Contacts, Images, Videos and Application. You can use these free Backup applications.

Step 2. Download Samsung Galaxy S3 USB drivers and install it.

Step 3. After taking the full backup of your device, enable USB debugging mode on your Galaxy S2. Read here How To Enable USB Debugging Mode in Android Devices

Step 4. Now its time to Download the latest I9300 DUEMA1 Jelly Bean Official Firmware on your computer and extract the file on your desktop.

Step 5. Now Download ODIN v1.85 from here to install the Android 4.1.2 update on your device.

Step 6. Turn of your Galaxy S3 and enter into download mode. Press and hold the Volume Down + Home buttons together, and then press the Power button till you see the construction Android robot and a triangle. Press Power again to confirm to enter into Download Mode.

Step 7. Now time to run the ODIN on your desktop and connect you device with the computer. If the device is connected successfully, one ID:COM boxes will turn yellow after some time.

Click on ‘PDA’ and select file with ‘CODE’ in its name.
Click on ‘Phone’ and select file with ‘MODEM’ in its name. Ignore this step if there is no such file.
Click on ‘CSC’ and select file with CSC’ in its name. Ignore this step if there is no such file.
Click on ‘PIT’ and select the .pit file. Ignore this step if there is no such file.

Step 9. Now ODIN App window, check the Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options. Don’t check the Re-Partition option, check it ONLY if you selected a .PIT file in the above step.

Step 10. Now you are finally done, so hit the start button on the ODIN app to install the update on your device. This process will take some time, so please wait.

After the installation is complete your Samsung Galaxy S3 will reboot automatically. After you see the home screen on your mobile phone, unplug your phone from the computer. Now you Galaxy S3 I9300T is successfully updated with the latest DUEMA1 Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 Official Firmware.
