On Thursday, Verizon Wireless premiered the HTC Imagio, the carrier’s first Windows Mobile 6.5 device and the first smartphone to support its V Cast Mobile TV service. At $199, the touch-screen handset is a pretty good deal considering its packing some major hardware. Starting with October 6, those interested in acquiring a new Windows phone from the company can opt for the HTC Imagio, which will be available for purchase on the carrier’s website.
The HTC Imagio, better known under the codename Whitestone, will feature the following key specs: 3.6? WVGA touchscreen display (resistive, of course), 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, Wi-Fi, EV-DO Rev. A, quad-band EDGE and 2100MHz UMTS/HSDPA for international roaming.
